I am sitting here today inside Kelly's Coffee & Fudge. Yes, that ampersand is crucial and absolutely necessary.
I always, always make it a point to be extremely nice to anybody working anywhere, whether it be at Denny's, IHOP, or any place where people have to deal with asshole's on a daily basis. Even if I am in a terrible mood, I won't take it out on an employee of anywhere. I know how it is, and just one person being nice can make someone feel a lot better, not about just life, but humanity as a whole.
side ramble; A man walks into the coffee shop, asks for a 'ristretto espresso', which is an espresso, made the usual way but pressed faster than normal which reduces the caffeine to the tasty coffee oils. Okay, let me make it clear, he asked "Do you make ristretto espressos?" That is not a ridiculous act, but after hearing that they didn't make them (rather, not know how) he left. If you want an espresso, get an espresso. It's 10am, you could probably use the caffeine.
Today is day 20 of me living out of a backpack, and I must say, in retrospect, I am having a great time. Some things aren't going as swimmingly as they could be, but c'est la vie..
